Dr. Matthew Kingston

Dentist

Dr. Matthew Kingston received a B.S. with Honors in Biology from the University of Richmond in Virginia in 1996 and the Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree with Honors from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2001. He initially entered private practice in the Philadelphia area and has been a Lancaster dentist since 2005.

Dr. Kingston has pursued advanced training in many disciplines of dentistry, including endodontics (root canal therapy), porcelain veneers, bonding, porcelain crowns, tooth colored fillings and the restoration of dental implants, and has been a Certified Invisalign® Provider since 2003. He has completed over 130 hours of coursework and training at the prestigious Scottsdale Center for Dentistry in Arizona, where he had the opportunity to train with some of the most celebrated dental practitioners in the country. Dr. Kingston is a member of The American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Pennsylvania Dental Association, and The Lancaster Dental Society and The Lancaster County Dental Society.

Dr. Kingston's vision for Healthy Smiles Dental is to serve the dental needs of the Lancaster community and to provide comprehensive, personalized care for his patients while educating them about the strong link between maintaining good oral health and long-term overall health.

In addition to the practice of dentistry, Dr. Kingston enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is a dedicated runner and enjoys hiking and spending time in the Poconos. He is an active member of his church and participates enthusiastically in the activities of his four children.

Jamie

Office Manager

Jamie was born and raised in Lebanon County. She graduated from Keystone Technical Institute in 2007 with her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting (EFDA) degree. She worked as an EFDA in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties before joining our team. She has been with Healthy Smiles Dental since 2012 as a patient advocate and more recently has taken on the role of Office Manager.

Jamie and her husband Jon reside in Lancaster County with their two daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her daughters, trying new recipes and spending weekends at Raystown Lake on the boat.

Jenell

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Jenell was born and raised in Lancaster with her two older sisters and is a mom to two girls. She returned to school after being a stay at home mom for 9 years and graduated from York Technical Institute after completing the dental assistant program in 2014.

Since joining the Healthy Smiles Dental team in 2016, Jenell has been privileged to help care for our patients and enjoys working with a group of people who are passionate about patient education and exceptional patient care. Jenell feels patient education is the foundation of quality dental care and wants to provide each individual with the tools they need to be successful in their home care.

In her personal time, she enjoys spending quality time with her local family and two daughters and running.

Jill

Dental Hygienist

Jill joined Healthy Smiles Dental in 2019 and is very excited to be practicing back in the Millersville area after a year of specializing in periodontics. A graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College Dental Hygiene class of 1993, she has been in the dental field for over 30 years as a dental assistant and a dental hygienist. She strives to make every patient feel special and comfortable during their dental visit. She is always looking for new tools and products to help her patients improve their oral health. She feels so blessed to have a career she continues to enjoy every day. A public health hygienist she also volunteers for the Mission of Mercy of Pennsylvania a free dental clinic to give back to community, one healthy smile at a time.

Jill lives in Conestoga with her husband and her dog Brannah. When not at Dr. Kingston’s office you will find her kayaking, hiking, babysitting her Granddaughter, listening to Jimmy Buffett, and cheering on her Pittsburgh Steelers!!

Kim

Dental Hygienist

Kim is a Lancaster County native and has been a dental hygienist for over 13 years. She joined the Healthy Smiles team while working on an as needed basis in 2021 and became a permanent team member in 2022. Working with patients and helping them achieve their oral health goals is what she finds rewarding in her profession. Kim and her family enjoy spending their free time participating in many outdoor activities.

Pam

Dental Hygienist

Pam is a native of Massachusetts. She graduated from Quinsigamond Community College and began her dental hygiene career in 2008. Pam joined the Healthy Smiles Dental team in 2015. She enjoys working with people and finding individual solutions to better their oral health.

Outside of work, Pam enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and finding the next creative home improvement project.

Tina

Dental Hygienist

Tina is a native of Lancaster City. She has been working in dentistry for 39 years, starting as a dental assistant, and graduating with her dental hygiene degree from Harrisburg Area Community College in 1996. She enjoys people and getting to know her patients, striving to educate them about their oral health and how it affects their overall health. She has volunteered her dental hygiene services at the Water Street Rescue Mission for several years, serving the underprivileged, which brings her great joy, as they are very appreciative.

Tina lives in Lancaster Twp. with her husband of 35 years, Eric. They have 2 grown sons, Dakota and Gunnar, and a yellow Lab, “Nittany” They enjoy spending time together doing outdoor activities, sports, traveling and relaxing at their cabin in Western PA.
